Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his showmanship - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
